Default 1992 Chevrolet Caprice Eagle Coach Hearse

1992 Chevrolet Caprice Eagle Coach Hearse Silver Hearse with a Silver elk style full vinyl top. Driver compartment has Burgundy cloth seats. Rear casket compartment is Burgundy with a Cherry Burl floor. The 305 5 Liter Motor has 107,004 miles on it, but it runs like a top! https://www.ebay.com/itm/1992-Chevro...gAAOSwdjdZ51iK

So, what exactly is an "alternative hearse"? Is that the same thing as a service or first call vehicle? Or does that mean that it is built on a car that is an alternative to Cadillac and Lincoln?

This car is interesting. I can't tell if it is much different than the regular Chevrolet Caprice wagon. (maybe it is the same thing?). My 1995 Chevrolet Chancellor by Superior is not as long as a Cadillac, but it is definitely different than this one. This one has a rear door with a dog leg like most four door cars, while mine has a rear door almost shaped like the front door.

I believe that is the polite way to say a cheap hearse most had developed a entry level line of the tail stretches.
