'48 Henney Packard Ambulance

I really like that! Looks like a very large undertaking to restore to service-form but all seems to be there. I wish they had more pictures of the patient area. Hopefully this dosent get grabbed and made iredeemable. Thanks for the post!

Blencoe, IA is about an hour north of where I live. I will be back up that way on New Year's Eve day, if anyone is seriously interested in it and would like me to check it out.

I believe Steve is correct. The cabinet looks to be home-made.

I should swing by to see if he wants to sell the grilles!! :D

Local PCS member and friend Miguel, could use parts from that car.
We spent a couple days driving around getting quotes to chrome plate his 48 Packard chrome parts and he is missing a few things as well as a few are badly rusted or broken.

I sent him the link. Maybe he will want to buy the car for the parts he needs.

I will let you know soon.

Thanks for posting this ad.

Darren

Looks like there were 2 1949 Henney Packard "ambulances" and 1 1949 Henney Packard limo advertised on the auction bill. The auction was in Sept.
