66 S&S Victoria

If the windshields are "SMALL" top to bottom they are sending you passenger car windshields. In that era there was only one commercial car windshield any lower windshield would be a Passenger car. They were expensive then as now. Actually in todays dollars versus yesterdays dollars in may be cheaper.

That's the only good thing to come out of this lock down. I'm trying to find out how many of these were made cause i cant even find a picture of another one. I did find a date on the inside of the top saying October fifth 1965. Is there a way to find out the number built and how many are still alive? By the way it's going flat black with a black top. What does everyone think about that? I'm still trying to find a back glass ,S&S badge for the hub cap and a fuel door.

The windshield would be the last thing that I would be installing, since glass is very unforgiving. It doesn't take much to crack it in the process of restoration. I would leave the glass at the glass shop until you are finished with the roof repair and painting.

Ed, The fuel door on S&S coaches of the '60s are unique and specific to that coachbuilder. This is what Mr. Baccari is looking for -

first question is that a door or a cap? door would be hinged you reach threw it to remove the cap. a cap you twist off the filer neck. the only one I can think of like this is the cap off a jeep wagoner. they had a chrome one with a black handle. this one looks cast to me

I would assume , same as the 61. Cap that is hinged.

Back in that day Pot Metal would have been the cheapest way to make it. You need to find some one who has one and access to the 3D printing. They could make one all but the hinge. The president of our local Radio Club is a Prof. at Lehigh University and they have been making rare radio knobs this way. He brought some to a meeting and said they did not have the technology to do big stuff but its out there. Lets check in with computer geeks.
