Question about a Silent Siren

I am wondering if anyone has information on how the "Silent Siren" light was powered. Did it plug into a cigar lighter? Was it wired into the car? Did it have a special adaptor? My silent siren was used when I purchased it. It had been converted to 12 V and had a cigar lighter plug. Any info on the light or power supply would be appreciated.

I know nothing about a Silent Siren, but I did notice on the NOS one that sold on eBay recently there was a cigarette lighter adapter as the power source.

they were powered a number of ways some were put on like grill lights some went on over the headlights. i can easily imagine a cigar light plug

I have one of those kicking around in the garage somewhere and I believe that it has a plug for inserting into a cigarette lighter on the end of the long cord.

I have an ad for one, and it shows a cigar plug.
The ones ED mentioned that go over the headlights are called lite-o-flags.

then here are two of them that were set up for permanent mount like grill lights
