got this one in a trade from Ron for a light on a car that Russ now owns. those 6 volts and not easy to come by and it's a fairly nice light. set it up on the car and it's rather large and right now we need to set it back a bit to level it out. from the pattern on top of the car it looks like it had a 4 hole federal up there.

but a bird in the hand so to say. this one was in grate shape when I got it some 5 years ago. set it up on the attic and never looked at it till I started on the car. the front housing has split as they do. so we are going to see about getting it repaired and re-plated you get one of these things apart and there is really not much working stuff in there.

Those were very common on American LaFrance 700 Series open cab fire trucks. Mounted on top of the windshield, put out a surprising amount of light to the front.
