How do I install this mirror?

Attila Bethlenfalvy 03-05-2012 02:58 PM

Looks like the mirror is attached. ;)

The stem has 3 mounting holes - on the top end (between sunvisor catches) and then two additional on either side of stem where casting flares below that. Can't quite make out in shot provided if any of those points are broken.

It should just install to the windshield frame.

You screw it up.............. :rofl1:

Nothing is broke off the mirror, it is in great shape. In doing some more investigation, I notice a hole in the top of the mirror that a screw goes through. Looking at the headliner, it originally was NOT used, only the 2 screws that go into windshield frame. In fact, the hole in the roof has never been used for the top screw, only the 2 behind the sun visor holders.

I had to go out and look. the third hole is for stabilization and you should use it. when you get it on poke a ice pick up and see if it drilled. then put a short #6 in it. other wise you rocking it on the two long ones that hold the molding in place. you going to bet me on the road with yours? I'm up to putting the rear curtains in this one
