Anyone Need a Room in Albany Host Hotel?

I have a room reserved in the host hotel, Best Western-Albany Airport Inn, which I am not going to use. (I've decided to drive in on Sat. morning.) The room is a single, king-sized bed, non-smoking and is reserved for TONIGHT (Friday, 8/30) ONLY. If any member out there is in need of a room, I would rather help you out than just cancel the room. I was thinking maybe something could be worked out with the hotel where I could call them and let them know that I would like to transfer my reservation to someone else, give them the person's name, and then the person would have to call and confirm the reservation. I don't know if hotels do this, but like I said, I'd like to help someone out if I can. I'm not sure if the hotel is fully booked at this point. It is 3:05 Eastern Time right now. I'll check this board a few times within the next hour and a half or so. I don't want to wait too long to notify the hotel that I'm not coming.

Canceling Now

Sounds like no one needs the room, which is a good thing. Hope everyone is having fun. See you tomorrow.
