63 SP Hightop Military......and he says it's NOT the Kennedy car!

his description sounds pretty straight forward. I wonder what his reserve is, after seeing the sale price on the BJ car, I hope he doesnt think this one is worth that kind of money restored.

high or low (which is a matter of interpretation, times desire for, divided by need) a side. did any one else notice the difference in the name plate from the BJ one.

you got to keep the info out there as the car is still being viewed daily. but more impotent then comparison it with the brass tag. is comparison it with the army 63 they were using to compare locations. that shows that the 63 military all had the same tag. then a check of the dash pictures here and from the crushed car shows that the tag is missing from the dash before it was crushed. some one still has that one in there desk drawer. but with this one here I now have pictures of at least 8 of the only 16 reported to be made that year.

Ed... from the pictures you posted, it looks like you have car 14 & 15. If you post the rest of the pictures, possibly we can figure out how many have survived by the car numbers. Be interesting to get the GM serial number from each of the surviving cars to match up with the Superior Tags.

the only difference I see in the tags is the serial numbers 455 0n top 477 on bottom. all the other info is the same. it will be the white one in these pictures. I'm sure I get that picture from Steve. then the Kennedy one then bobs clone now in Allen's, grant county one Steve shared and 3 off e-bay go9ing to take a bit the up loader wont let me do more then 2 pictures a post

Look to the left of that Kennedy car picture.

Standing to the left of the car is David Powers. David was Jack Kennedy's best friend. He personally supervised the destruction of the car he absolutely knew to be the car used to transport his deceased friend. I knew Dave Powers and I can guarantee he knew that it was the real car he was destroying. I get all ticked off at the Barrett Jackson people every time this subject comes up. Slapped in the face with the truth and they still wouldn't admit that they had been had.

Ed, 4 more you may not have - most saved from this site.

And why does this Kennedy Pontiac look so much lighter than the one above?

thanks for posting them. the news shot at the airport it's night and the angle of the shot.
one forgets that most of the military cars were cycled back into civilian services. but here if there were only 16 we have accounted for 12 of them.

in defense of the good Dr. he got a bum steer feom the other web site. he never made it over here. if he had of I don't think he would have made the clams he did. the other manufactured information he bought. he put out feelers offering money and some one sold him what he wanted. history books are full of that to. as all ready stated Ms Allen has not keep the lie alive. but her paying 100Gs for a hoxe has not help those of us that are collecting get a cheaper car. this one offered here is a grand tops car in my opinion we'll see if it sells.
