bee busy the last few days making me a jump seat for the 53. we were missing one completely on the car when we got it. so failing to locate one we have covered a set of 70 Mm irons into a reasonable copy of a fifties jump seat.

the original was a cast steel frame with the base on a plywood square. they lined the plywood with paper wound tight in burlap to for the edge. the remaining one was the best part of the car so it worked why the other was removed I have no Ida. but the seat itself is way smaller the the 60-70s here are a few pictures of the process. the first is comparing the frame to the seat in the 67. that will give you a size compression and the reason why I could not just use a set like them. then we end up with fitting the back off the origin one to the new frame. we'll discuss the base and the back with the man doing the teaching on our next run up. the original was a cardboard piece in the hole which did not survive will
