Landau Buttons

Does anyone know if there is any supplier or shop anywhere that sells original or even reproduction Laundau buttons? I am missing the lower button and bolt from my passenger landau bar and have had no luck finding one.

I imagine its not a high demand item for reproduction.

Until I can find one I have removed the bottom bolt/button from my drivers side Landau bar so i can take it to home depot or something and at least get a bolt by itself to hold it in place. I'd feel better if it wasnt flopping around.

Actually right after posting i found this:

https://www.infparts.com/store/index...roduct_id=1549

I am not sure if all of these used the same size bolt or not, and im not sure as far as authenticity goes on this. It LOOKS to be the right size bolt but at $34 I want to make sure im right

Those are incorrect for your car, they are S&S style. Which is odd because they appear to sell M-M style bars...?

As far as the bolt goes, will it fit though? If so I'm tempted to use it temporarily until I can find the correct one. Either that or ghetto fix it with a simple nut and bolt. Both would be temporary fixes though, it really boils down to appearance for now

Picture picture i may have one but it has been so long since i messed with one I'm not sure and I'm to lazy to go out and pull the cover off my 72 cb. But I'm sure the S and S was only a 1/4 20 bolt and the MM is 5/16.

I'll get a picture tomorrow, thanks for the CW Coach suggestion. I will shoot them an email

If all else fails, I will be at C-W in a month and can look through their inventory.

we did the spring car shuffle today no snow or rain and around 67 degs out there. so went looking in my stash. found the no home yet buttons I have here. mine are the superior type but I did get one off my CB. in 72 CB started using the MM bars on there cars.

so here is what a 72 landau bar knob looks like. it is a 1/4 20 stud the superior has the bigger 5/16 stud

1/4 20 is right. Got a bolt at ace hardware this week to hold it in place. I may have found one though, will let you keep you updated.

Heres what im using for the moment though until then:
