Obviously that partition was added at a later date.

Peter Grave 01-09-2018 07:18 PM

I have to agree Kurt the division looks like Sams For Storm Windows made it. BUT the limo has the extra Chunk between the front and middle door that was usually only put in when there was a division. Who Knows???

Pete,
Many 24-hour 6-doors had that extra length and no partition. I don't think I have ever seen a factory-built 6-door with a partition.

John ED Renstrom 01-09-2018 11:28 PM

Will I have a number of them. The extra 6 inches was for the partition. They were used mostly by rental services funeral in the afternoon party wagon in the evening. Hence the 24 hr car nickname. One class up from a standard 6 door just under the J seaters. In the limo line up. They are also call a executive limo.

Kurt Arends 01-10-2018 12:33 AM

I have never heard of any 6-door referred to as an executive limo.

Here is a 6-door, 24-hour example that is currently at C-W Coach. It has no partition. Southwest's yard in K.C. has numerous similar examples.

when I picked up the 86 the home had replaced the pair they were selling with two in the late 90s set up with fixed seating and the divider. the ones with out the divider usually have the center flip seat.

Kurt Arends 01-10-2018 07:30 PM

The white '90 that is listed for sale on eBay now has the "flipper seat".
