Do any of the members here have an Abbott And Hast conversion?
I would like to see some examples.
I am in Mexico and during the '60s the law in Mexico was that a hearse had to be a Mexican made car.
Station wagons were sent from Mexico to Abbott and Hast to be converted and sent back to Mexico.
I am going to start a search for some of these cars and I hope to find some.
I was in Navajoa, Sonora recently and went to a funeral home to look at 2 Cadillacs they had there.
I got to talking to the owner and we went to his office for me to give him my information and right on the wall was a picture of an A&H conversion they used to have. It was a Dodge Coronet wagon.
I really hope to find some.
Any pictures will be appreciated so I can identify the car when I see it.
Thanks in advance for your help with this.
