Well She is done... The Jimmy Flintstone 1948 Barnette Hearse with the rear windows cut out. Scratch built interior. Paint Is Krylon Sweet Cream over Krylon Burgandy. Some lights from the parts box. Any comments are more than welcome.. And I added the skirts for that classic LOOK. I just could not resist them.

Chris,
This model is absolutely beautiful. What incredible workmanship. Being a big fan of 40s & 50s Nationals and Barnettes it is nice to see that you chose this model to put your effots and talents into. It is also great to see your work now on these forums!

What a stunning model, Chris. I like your choice of color and use of the gold lettering. The whitewalls and fender skirts are perfect for that car!

I hope to meet you at the Micro-Meet in February.

Very nice Chris. This must take extraordinary talent, patience, and skill. Thanks for sharing the pictures. I worked as a Paramedic Field Supervisor for the city of New Bedford Massachusetts, and they have a 1954 Chevy Barnette that they still use as a parade vehicle.

Sounds good Chris. Just send me a PM or an E-Mail the next time you travel to New England. We can go see the Chevy Barnette anytime. Lynn is probably about an hour away. I will also get in touch with some of my fellow New England PCS members and we can all get together.
