Noticed these pics last week, posted them in sad procars (http://www.professionalcarsociety.org/forums/showpost.php?p=71779&postcount=258) thread, and Rich was right that the coach is for sale. (Fresh day old CL ad but good call!) Given rarity even w/o title $1100 should definitely make a buyer quite happy.

If it had a title it would say 1968.

Saw this on CL and must agree, this car is worth the money. Somebody please save this car. I wish I were closer to this one. Looks a lot like a 68 to me though.

Kevin is right, it IS a '68. The side marker light on the tail light housing is the first dead (pardon the pun) give away, the second is the parking lights and cornering light lenses. The grilles have smaller squares for '68 as well.

...and square corners on the outerior mirrors, body color between the headlights, vents on the longer engine hood which hide the windshield wipers, no rust on the dash numbers and letters, different dashpad, different hubcaps.

It looks like there are snaps on the chrome strippin' on the sides that separates the rear quarters from the black top.

These guys are exactly right! That is what is the differnce betwen a 67 or 68!:smileflagcan: Kevin you are unbeliveable - I knew every one of tghe things you mentioned -that is the differnce between 67 and 68! But I worked out of these years -while serving w/ Memorial Ambulance & Invalid Coach in Buffalo, NY. Peace!

I had a 1968 MM Citation and that is what is in the photo.

My first hearse ever and I LOVED IT !!!

Black with gold interior. I didn't really dig the gold but the condition of it was real nice.

Gotta love these finds,
Darren

That car's biggest issue is going to be all of that rust under the vinyl roof. Looks like it is getting pretty bad. Hopefully, it's not coming through yet. Beautiful car and I hope someone saves it!

The easiest way for me to tell a 67 from 68 at a glance is the hood. Look where the hood meets the grille, a 67 it is straight, and a 68 the trim is lower on the corners and has a drastic upward bend before it straightens out. It is hard for me to explain so here is a pic of a 67 and 68

nice looking 68 wounder who owns that one? but the money for the gold one is in the realistic price range. if would be up to who ever would want it to decide if the money to redo it would be worth it. 68 is the last of the stacked headlights.

For me the easiest way is look for the wipers ,68 is only year with stacked headlights and the wipers are hidden by the hood.:my2cents:
