1968 Pontiac Ambulance No motor or transmission. Complete roller, though. Was my dream car but I haven't done much with it for over a year. I started to try and fit a diesel in it but gave up when I ran out of skillz. I'm easily distracted, unfortunately. Nothing hacked in it. Ready for a clean install of your choice. Also needs front floorpans.

Some pics of it when I got it and pretty much how it looks now (with no motor and the front clip unbolted).

Looks Pretty Solid - maybe a good starting point? even with no engine or transmission. Price seems o.k. for what you're getting.

I missed Attila's earlier post, should have searched a little harder before posting. Anyways, it's still out there.

I checked this car out back in Feb...it was in pretty decent shape.....only thing ,he had removed the front clip in order to install a ISUZU Diesel MOTOR...when he found out it would take more then his mechanical knowlege would allow..he decided to sell it.....
The car used to be in Santa Cruz,Calif..then Sacramento Calif and also San Jose Calif.....according to him...
Here is a site for additional pictures......

Looking at the pictures on HubGarage.com, we can see that the car has bucket seats and floor console in the cab area. This is the first time that I see that in a Pontiac.

Did anyone ever saw this set-up in a Pontiac before?

Here in Woodstock we had 4 pontiacs in our fleet, all had bench seats, all were red and white when I started, boss got a brain wave painted all 4 white, and when the province assumed ambulance control they all went blue and white,so from very nice ,to icky, to :puking::myopinion:

From what I do remember..he said that he was going to have to "CUT" the FIREWALL....:pat: and some other minor things underneath.......and he did not want to start cutting and THEN decide he didnt know what to do.........sooooooooo
at least he STOPPED when he did !!!

I SO don't understand why some people do such stupid stuff to one of these cars!!!!! He chops up a perfectly good pro-car! 'The man has raisins in his brain case!' :puking:
