I was in Buffalo NY recently and found this diecast hearse.

Special Edition from The Phoenix Mint
1937 Studebaker Hearse

This one is the 5th in a series of "Buffalo Traditions" for 2012

It features: Carlton A Ullrich Funeral Home

The car is 5" long. The two front doors and the rear door open.

I paid 23.00 plus tax at Niagara Hobbies.

I will bring one to Flint to show everyone.

I think I read on the sign that this was limited to 200 cars.
Niagara Hobbies had about 6 more.
They could also be available from other places in Buffalo but I don't know for sure.

Managed to acquire over weekend. Couple close-ups.

I'm not in love with this diecast - not sure if for having generic/nondescript detailing, ambiguous coach builder, or maybe the misnomer of 'The Phoenix Mint' illusion having higher quality than product delivers (made in China, no comparison to Danbury or Franklin Mint). That being said, still isn't a "bad" 1/43 hearse. There aren't many hearses in this scale available under $30 and for that reason one should consider acquiring if situation arises.

'37 Studebaker is a '12 release, which is the only other fact confirmed.

I bought one of these last fall from Diecast Direct.

The only difference is that the one I posted has the Buffalo Funeral Home name in the side windows as it was a Special Edition.

I will be bringing Mike's to the Ohio BBQ Dwayne is hosting on Saturday if anyone wants to see it.
