Motor City USA 1955 Cadillac S&S Superline Victoria Hearse 1:18 Black. Buy in now price of $499.99!
Would this be an old release or a new model? Is Motor City taking up where Precision Miniatures/Sunset Coach left off?
The add is new on ebay. If this post belongs in the ebay forum, just move it and say no more!

I am unfamiliar with their 1/18 offerings and will do some digging. 1/43 Sunset Coaches by Motor City consistently bring big money.
'41 Henney Packard limo style for $810. (http://www.ebay.com/itm/1941-Packard-Limo-Style-Hearse-1-43-Scale-Motor-City-/290619389667?pt=Diecast_Vehicles&hash=item43aa43f6e3)

'58 Comet Olds Landau for $710. (http://www.ebay.com/itm/1958-Oldsmobile-Landau-Hearse-1-43-Scale-Motor-City-/290619384015?pt=Diecast_Vehicles&hash=item43aa43e0cf)

'59 Superior Crown Landaulet for $860.50. (http://www.ebay.com/itm/1959-Cadillac-Crown-Royale-Landau-Hearse-1-43-Scale-Motor-City-/290619403673?pt=Diecast_Vehicles&hash=item43aa442d99)
Another I've seen that typically brings $500 is a '49 Flxible Buick service car. Then there is the 1/24 (also Sunset Coach by Motor City) '39 Cadillac S&S Carved that brings closer to a grand...

These are the types to always keep an eye open for @ flea markets and such. Again, I've not seen any 1/18 diecast from the company. Frankly I'm not convinced that the '55 S&S in question is 1/18 w/o seeing original box. Although beautiful, it seems to have detail on par w/ the smaller scales. Look at the chrome/stainless differences (like nose trim) between this one and the 1/18 Precision Miniatures. '55 is much thicker and disproportionately large.

Thanks Attila!
I'm doubting the 1:18 scale myself! The photos of all the models are sure nice to look at!

'59 Crown mentioned didn't attach properly. Editing function really should be changed to last longer than a few minutes... :stars:

30 minutes isn't a "few".... Editing time was reset to 30 minutes at your request more than a year ago... There is no edit date stamp at the bottom of the post, so it is apparent that you didn't attempt to edit it. The 30 minutes starts from the time that you submit the post. There is no limit on how much time that you spend composing the post, or how many times you preview the post to see how it is going to look.

He wasn't able to edit his post in time, so there would be no edit tag at the bottom...

How long does it take to know that "'59 Crown mentioned didn't attach properly." ?. More than 30 minutes? How do you define a few minutes?

Since this thread is already off topic.... Why is there a time limit anyway?
