Thank you for all your prayers and positive thoughts for my son after his fall from our roof.

After two surgeries, 2 different hospitals and 20 days in an acute rehab facility my son is finally home. He still in a lot of pain and can't do much on his own. He can get out of bed for the bathroom and sit in the recliner but is sill uneasy on his feet because of the pelvic fracture. Still has the wrist and elbow immobilized and will until he has surgery to remove the pins and screws on 8/25. Sometime I’ll have to post the x-rays and a photo of the external fixator they screwed into his wrist and forearm.

Even with all the turmoil going on in the society I wish I were going. In my absence Mr. Fred McPeck will be representing the Rocky Mountain Chapter. I’ve made every attempt to keep him updated on the recent board activities. Cut him some slack, as he is new to the car club politics.

As I stay home to care for my family I pray for your safe travel to Flint and for the return home.

Best wishes to everyone for a successful meet and board meetings.

Joe... he is young, and he will heal and in a few years, he will barely have memory of this as being much more than just a minor inconvenience during a summer. The mind has a way of forgetting the pain as time goes by. Glad to hear that he is coming along well. All the best to both you and him.. Paul

Glad he's doing OK. That's more important than the meetings.

Glad to hear that he is getting better. It's take time, but I know you well enough that you will stay with him and do what it takes to get him back on his feet and being a kid again.

As far as the meeting and the meet goes, as was mentioned, you have other priorities that you need to take care... namely your family. Right now, they (especially your son) need you far more than we do.

Take care Joe and all the best to you and your whole family!
