A fellow hearse enthusiast went and looked at this one last weekend. He confirmed it is a C/B coach. As interested as he was, he said the body had alot of rust issues he wasn't willing to take on in case anyone is considering it.

I'm always up for rust. but then it a 75 not a 76. they were not buildig CBs in 76. there last year was 75

If C/B's last year of production was 75, they were likely producing 76 cars. As Dwayne said, someone looked at it in person and verified it's a Cotner-Bevington.

It's not a very good picture in the ad, but it does appear to have the 75 hood line and turn signals in the bumper, rather than under the headlights. Maybe they got the year wrong in the ad?

The car is a 75, but there have been cases of even titles having the year based on when is was first sold. Not saying that is the case with this car but it does happen.

these cars do get titled wrong a lot. but the big thing is it's a CB and CB shut down operation in the 75 production year. Wayne corp was cutting off the exeter arms trying to keep the MM line going. the big wheels of Cb had both sold off there stock in the company and started the AQC corporation building on the tornado chassis. when Wayne decided to close there was no one left to fight for the co. CB was the last of the brake up of Comet to fall. since they did not produce a 76 modale and the car in question is a CB then it has to be a 75. but how ever if the serial number reveals it's a 76 then I want it. it would be lovely to own a car that doesn't exist. stranger things have happend

I have seen a car that doesn't exist and got pictures to prove it.
