I spoke to the owner, and he is asking $5K nego. Said to be rust free with an excellent interior.

Not a Superior! Note significant '63 Superior Pontiac roofline difference.

With this rate of rare coaches turning up I may find a jar of unicorn tears at the flea market.

Hard to see at that angle, but I think the one you show is a log-wheelbase Criterion with commercial side glass, and the Criterion and Consort models had much different rooflines. I also thought Superior was the only one using that add-on chrome strip above the side windows starting at the windshield on their SWB coaches?

She's definitely a Consort; I'd post an ad and a photo to prove it, but the site won't let me upload any photos.

Each time I try to attach a photo I'm told "This is not a valid image file."

Incorrectly thought Consorts started post-'64. When was the first year?

And no, my Superior book is not close.

Consort was introduced in 1961.

C/B... note the roof molding on this car, and the one pictured above.

1963 Superior Consort Pontiac combination (on a Bonneville, I think). Similar roof molding to the C/B Paul posted.

Note the slight difference in the molding design above the front doors between the Superior and C/B.

Design and coachbuilding aside, with a V8 I bet a 1963 SWB Pontiac was a blast to drive! And, I have a soft spot for Pontiacs. I was just thinking back to my first muscle car experience when I was about 15 years old, a 100+ mph ride in a 1966 GTO, and then thinking of doing it in this car :D

I started in my ambulance career in 1963 Pontiac Consorts. You're right, they were a blast to drive, run like a raped ape.....couldn't keep trannys in them for nothin'. Don't know why, but they'de chew up trannys like tomorrow wasn't comin'. Carl got rid of them early because of that.

Where'd you get this pic, Adam. There's a '63 Consort in Lubbock just like this one (same condition, too).
