On Saturday June 20th, the Ohio PCS will be hosting the sixth annual Procar Picnic and Night at the Drive-In. The meet will start off at 4pm on the 20th with a potluck picnic at 3060 Kent Road in Silver Lake, Ohio. The chapter will be providing drinks, hot dogs, buns, plates, and tables. You just need to bring a folding chair, a side or dessert, and your appetite.
After the picnic, we will be convoying to the Midway Drive-In Movie Theater (http://funflick.com/midway.html) outside of Ravenna for a double feature. I'll know our movie choices a few days ahead of time, and I'll let everyone know what two movies are on screen one and what two movies are on screen two so we can vote for which screen's movies we want to see. The movie theater broadcasts the movies' audio over FM radio, you if you don't have a radio in your coach, be sure to bring a boombox.
After the night of movies, you are more than welcome to camp at my house. If camping isn't your thing though, there are many hotels in the area. If you would like some hotel suggestions, email me.
On Sunday morning we will have breakfast at the local Bob Evan's and then we will head off to Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens (http://www.stanhywet.org/) to check out their huge Father's Day car show (http://www.stanhywet.org/calendar/calendar_view.aspx?A=&UID=275CE629-F9EB-41F0-AF34-9F0DA3A5B9C3). There are usually over 350 classic and antique cars at this judged show. Most of us will probably just be spectators at the Stan Hywet car show, but if you are interested in showing your coach, let me know and I can get you information about it.
