Maybe you’ve heard of it. Perhaps you’ve read about it. You might even have participated in it once or twice previously. One thing is for sure: You won’t want to miss it this year. Of course, we’re talking about
THE MILLER-METEOR REUNION!

That’s right, a THIRD Reunion will be staged! This spectacular professional car event, scheduled for Labor Day weekend in the Piqua, Ohio area, is sure to attract many enthusiasts with it’s enticing agenda that includes tours of two modern professional car manufacturing plants, a stop at C/W Coach Sales in Cincinnati, dinner with Miller-Meteor retirees, visits to the former Meteor and Miller-Meteor plants in Piqua, and a professional car show in conjunction with the Piqua Heritage Festival. And if that’s not enough for you, we’ve been sure to allow plenty of time for the “parking lot social sessions” that make any get-together simply priceless.

Our host hotel will be the same facility that was home to us during the 2004 and 2007 Reunions, the Piqua Comfort Inn. This hotel is conveniently located just off I-75 and has proven to be a perfect location. The hospitality is down-home comfortable, there are many restaurants (and even a shopping mall) nearby, a large parking lot for our cars, and an indoor heated pool for those who desire to take a swim after the day’s events. The Comfort Inn has extended a very special rate of $60.00 (plus tax) per night to us. This is for double occupancy with two queen beds or one king bed. Make reservations directly with the Comfort Inn by calling (937) 778-8100. Mention Miller-Meteor to receive the special rate. To learn more about the hotel, google Comfort Inn Piqua.

First let me say I own a Miller-Meteor coach. This will be my 3rd Miller-Meteor Reunion. Now for my unbiased opinion.
The first two reunions were great! I can not imagine this one being anything less. Meeting the retirees that built our coaches is always a good time. This is one of those meets you won't want to miss. You will kick yourself later if you do. I talked to Tom Caserta today and he says there are still some things being planned to insure a good time is had by all. With his enthusiasim for this meet I am sure it will be one for the PCS history book.
The Piqua, Ohio area has a lot of Meteor Motor Car Co. and Miller-Meteor history.
The organizers are doing their best for us so lets do ours for them and attend what will be a very memorable meet.

I would love to attend this with my Lifeliner. Have to check the finances and see where we are after the Int'l Meet and to see how my rig did on the long haul to Michigan.

...he says there are still some things being planned to insure a good time is had by all...How many of them involve questioning by the Piqua Police? ;)

Dad and I (and Pate) are going to try to make it, I put in a "leave" request from work for that weekend.

Steve you have to remember that Jeremy was there. I have been to other meets without police assistance Jeremy was not at these. Then I have been to meets with Jeremy and the police (or sheriff) was in 'contact' with us. I think it is a Jeremy thing.
This will be the 30th anniversary of the plant closing. Tom Caserta told me they actually closed on a Labor Day weekend.
The city Heritage Festival will be in full swing too. So come enjoy MM history, Ohio State, and local history too.
