I have a friend that just got an 84 Superior Cadillac. He needs to know where the fuel filter is located. It has the 368 engine.

I believe the filter on the 368 is located where the fuel line attaches to the carburetor. Should be very similar to the setup on other GM carbureted cars.

Thank for the answers, but I asked the wrong question. He was wanting to know where the fuel pump was. I don't know what I was thinking when I was typing. :poster_oops:

He told me he found out that was where it was suppose to be, but his is a manual fuel pump mounted on the block. He said he thinks the engine is from an 82. Come to think of it, his hearse might be an 82 and the seller thought is was an 84. I will ask him to look on the coach tag and see if he can read the date.

Tell him to read the Vehicle Identification Number. It is located on the drivers side of the dash near the bottom of the windshield.
