I decided tonight it was about time to do a little dusting of the models and display cases, so I thought I would share some pics of a few in my Pro-Car model collection.

Those are all my favourites from that series. You've got great taste, and a great collection of cars thoughtfully displayed. Congrats!

Did you buy them all as they came out, or (as in my current situation), have to track them all down later?

I had to wait about a year on the 59 hearse and ambulance. I'm still trying to track down the 59 Flower-Car. I've seen a couple lately on eBay, but they seem a little to high for me.

It was finding the flower car by chance that sparked me collecting these models. It was almost a month ago: saw the box in the background of a photo in a kijiji ad, unmentioned, and recognized it. The guy was "selling diecasts." I called and ended up with a never-displayed complete, flower car in the box for $50.00. Now I've got the limo too, although that can still be had new for $99.00. Now the hearse... They are still out there waiting to be found, just like their 1:1 counterparts! :D

Just an update. Managed to get one of the black Landau '59s on eBay (without the lower fender trim, as I prefered it!) and through the help of a like-minded Cadillac connection in the U.S., the red & white ambulance. I'll be parking them beside the flower car & limo as soon as they arrive! I'll post some pictures.

I suppose since I've completed my miniature '59 diecast collection, I should start saving for one I can get in. :o

Thanks for the inspiration Mr. Gentry!
