Great looking car.
From the pictures, it looks like it is complete. All it needs is a little TLC and it will be looking good again. Is this one that you were looking for for yourself or did you come across it while looking for something else?

it sat outside of a business in a town north of me and i made several offers on it.the guy eventually died and i lost track of it.got a call last friday and they offered it to me. i have no idea what my next move will be. i have many projects but did not want this car going to a crusher or hot rodder.

Oh wow!
Good luck with it. Even if you don't get to it right away, it's better off sitting in your garage then being destroyed never to be seen again. Great little piece of history there.

Sorry that I can't help you out on that, but I am sure that as everyone checks in over the next couple of days that someone will be able to help you with that information.

From what I could tell from brief glances at both the Black Book and Tom McPherson's new Henney Book, this is a super rare car. Neither seemed to give acutal production figures-maybe someone with connections to the Packard group would have an answer, but guess it's original numbers was under 50. If you had the information off the builders plate that would help also.
Great find, great project and best of all great photos! Best of luck with your restoration!

That last picture was incredible. That car, even as it sits, is a thing of beauty.
