A hot sweaty pack mule collapsed in front of my mailbox today and out rolled a box from Ed Renstrom. It was the beacon ray for the 64. There for a while Ed and I were bidding against the same one on ebay for me but despite the fact I was supposed to be leaving for the university to teach, I just had to put this thing on the car just to see it sit there. First of all the skirt is like brand new and so is the dome. It is just gorgeous and here is the best part, when I put it in the hole I quickly realized we would not need to trim the skirt. It fit like it was the one that came with it. I cannot thank Ed enough, it works great as well.
Now the old girl can have her glamour shots taken.:thankyou2:

No skirt trimming? Come on it is not supposed to be that easy. I can't wait for Albany and watch the "Master Trimmer" Ed g to work on my skirts. I was measuring mine and realize I need at least an inch to come off on the inside towards the roofline. That will be close.
Good for you Ron....:applause:

glad she made it that light has more miles on it in the mail then the car. but I'm sure the light I'm trading it for will look every bit as sharp on my 53. I'll just be a bit behind you putting it on. a lot of temptation to just put it on the 72 but this will work out a lot nicer for me.

Oh don't wonder about me. With Terri losing all that weight (God bless her) her dresses fit me better and I love all the new styles. I'm such a lucky man and probably the only man having a mid-life crisis by having an affair with his wife! :boo:
