Looking for a gifted and talented individual to design and market a 1:18 scale removable flower tray which could be placed on a 1:18 scale Yatming/Road Signature 1957 Ford Ranchero! The book American Funeral Cars & Ambulances since 1900, page 277, lower right hand corner shows a photo of and references a Pickway Flower Car produced by the Miller-Pickway Corp. of Johnston, Pa. and based on a 1957 Ford Ranchero. Plenty of the 1:18 scale Ford Rancheros for sale, we just need a bed compartment cover!
Tinkerer and thinker.

Unfortunately, I am not much of a modeler myself so I can't help you with the flower deck. I like how you put it in the other thread and I agree with you.. I don't model much, I tinker a little.
It's kinda funny that you mention the Pickway though. If you need any photos of the real thing to go on, I know where an original 1:1 1958 Pickway Ranchero is and could get a few photos for you within a week or so of the request. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of it at all right now :( .
If you do get a nice flower deck made for that, I wouldn't mind seeing a picture of it.
Good luck in your search for a quality modeler.

This would be a perfect project for an ORTHODONTIST to play with! I'm sure the Good DR. would have all the tools, wires and clips, just needs to come up with a bed cover!

Try Chris Mooney in the modeling section of the site. He is a master.
Richard
PS: I'll take one for my flower car.

Gentlemen, if someone can photograph a existing Ford Pickway for details (especially good side profile of the deck) that I can use to model with I think I can help out. No promises right now I have other people waiting in line for builtups but I believe I can squeeze in the project sometime. First I have to find a cheap 57 Ford model out there.

Keep checking ebay diecast for buy-it-now prices. 1:18 scale 1957 Ford Ranchero or 1957 Ford Courier for a Service Car. The shipping is what is expensive. Either of them should be available in car show swap areas. Anxious to see what you have come up with!
