Looks very restorable.... must not be on a very well traveled road frequented by "died in the wool" PCS'ers! MM

I'm pretty sure that car saw service in Spicer, MN and belonged to PCS member Jim Paulson of Eau Claire, WI years ago.

Took a hot minute circumventing the photographer's settings to save them. Sarah's pics have the same setting. ;)

Uploaded 12/16/08 - which doesn't mean the picture was taken then. Although it may have sold since, having a legible number would still be a starting point.

Tony: Was this originally Fire Dept Unit, or in private service from new? MM

I don't know about the rest of you but when I see on down at the cowl I really wounder why. there should be a straight line from the headlight across the doors and to the tail. but Iwould take the siren light of that one.

You always can just email or text me letting me know which pics you want and I'll send you the full size files. :)

This car is located by Armstrong, IA and has been sitting for many years. I went to look at it a year or so ago and it is VERY rough, no title, and the owner wants like $2,500 for it. It is so rough that it looks to have been restored before and all the bondo has fallen out again. Pictures make this car look showroom condition compared to the reality.

Speaking of "somewhere in Iowa", I have always liked the 1981-1983 Chrysler Imperials, and am aware that a small number were converted into limousines. I have heard from Chrysler people that one has been spotted somewhere in Iowa. Would anyone happen to have any idea as to where?

I know there is one in Mason City but it is heavily damaged on the passenger side. I see it when up there, but have never gotten close enough to take any pics.

John, are you sure the Imperial in Mason City is a limo, or one of the "normal" 81-83 Imperials, which are rare enough already all on their own? If it is indeed a limo one, I may be interested in it depending on how bad the damage is.

Yes, the one I know of is a limo, but after thinking about a while it is actually about an 85 New Yorker or Aries. I will be sure to keep my eyes and ears open.

As for the 50 Superior posted earlier I found the owners info if anybody is interested remember the car is VERY rough and looks mint in the pics compaired to true condition. His name is Lee Anderson #712*260*4092. May have some usefull parts.
