I just got home from a great day at the Volunteer Chapter's spring meet. There were about fifteen members and guests in attendance and five or six pro cars. last night we started things off with supper at the Caney Fork Fish Camp. Today, we started the day with a good breakfast at Cracker Barrel and then toured the Nashville city cemetary. From there we went down town to a model train expo. After that we went to Ambulance and Hearse Sales and looked at all of their new and used stock. From there, we went to the Gupton Mortuary College for a tour. Then it was back to the motel to decide on a place for supper. I left, at this point, as I have been having back and knee problems, and was too worn out to continue the fun. A great time was had by all. It's always fun to get together with the fine folks of the PCS.
Oh.....by the way, Leann, when are you going to take the twins out for show and tell? :wowguy: :thumb:

Glad you guys had a great time. I was hoping to be able to make it, but me and a friend took off on a road trip this morning. I was hoping to bring home a new coach, and make it down to the meet this afternoon. But, things don't always go as planned. I was talking to the guy on the phone yesterday, and we kinda made a deel, but he wouldn't confurm a price. He just kept saying come down here tomorrow and we'll work something out. Well, we get there about 8 30 this morning, the car didn't want to star, he said lets put the battery on charge and lets go get some breakfast. So, we did, and after about a hour and a half of talking, we heded back. The car started, and I could see $ signs in his eyes, but at the same time I could tell he kinda hated to part with it. We spent forever listening to his storys about the good old days and how he remembered the car when it was new. Time flew by, and after spending the better part of the day listening to his great storys and trying to meet somewhere in the middle on a price, for now, the car is still sitting in his garage. So, I met a great guy today, who is full of great storys and great memorys, and got to see and ride in a beautiful old pro car, that one way or another will be comming home with me one day. But, I still can't deside if it was worth missing a great day hanging out with great PCS friends or not.

Thanks Kent for the post! One other place we visited was Marshall, Donnelly and Combs funeral home. Thanks to everyone near and far that attended and made this a great event. We had members from Ohio, Kentucky, North Carolina and Georgia in attendance. I will get some pictures posted in a few days. And by the way Richard, I HATE that picture!

P.S. The twins will be making their PCS debut very, very soon! :smiley3:

Thanks to everyone that showed up and made this a great meet! We had members drive to Tennessee from Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina and Ohio. This is the first meet we have been to that all 4 of Jeremy and my cars were together at the same time! (I hadn't offically bought Milly at this time!). In the group picture at Caney Fork, from left to right: Jo Sanders, Larry Sanders, Kent Martinson, Stephanie Bain, Pete Bain, Mike Stevens, Carl Lamberson, LeeAnn Boston, Jeremy Ledford, Danny Ryder, Fred Ponders, Ruby Ponders, Carolyn Duncan and Ted Dunan. Others attending but arriving later that night or the next morning, Stephen Mayfield, Rick and Trish Cox, Jason and Amie Ligon, Zona. Cars attending but not pictured, Rick and Trish Cox 1994 Eagle hearse, Danny Ryder 1994 6 door S & S, Kent Martinson 1993 Lincoln 6 door. If I left anyone or vehicle out, please add that information! Oh, and last picture - Jeremy was escorted home by the Wilson County Sheriff's Department!

We want to know what Jeremy did to get an escort. We know what you did! Flashing twins on the road does that!

You just have to decide what is more important. Taking care of the PCS and showing all the members how fun your meet is, or work hard make money to pay bills. It is unAmerican to work hard and pay your bills LeeAnn.

Your choice sweetums! Now if you had a man to take care of you....:agree:

It is coming along fine. If you guys would have came to EMS EXPO in Grand Rapids for their 35th Anniversary You would have Seen the Only Pro car there a 1976 M-M Lifeliner. But You would have Met Ron Savage a TV News Reporter who is a Firefighter/Emt also. In the Hall Across from us was Ron White ( They Call Me Tater Salad) and Singing down the Street was Carrie Underwood & Elton John.
Also all of these Folks were staying in Our Hotel

It was a Great Time

Did anyone else notice the fact that Jeremy's police car was in front of his hearse while LeAnn's was a view of the police car behind hers? When I was still in Law Enforcement that wasn't called an escort but more like a traffic stop!!!
