No way is it a 1251 mile car! It may very well be a 101,251 mile car! The front seat alone tells you that his claim is not correct. Not a bad limo though and probably worth close to what he is asking.

Nothing worse then a luxury car that has gone trashy. Interesting car those 460would really move the mail.

the 1967 lincolns had the 462, not a 460 . its basically a bored out 430cid engine

All I can say is my 67 four door convertible made many a trip from Pa. to the Florida Keys in the 80s sometimes pulling a 17 foot boat and it turned in a consistent 12 to 14 MPG. Now my 69 Lemann Peterson limo (wish I had it now) with then a 460 not 462 they changed in 1968 did 9 to 13 MPG but it was HEAVY.

as I recall they did the around 15 mpg if you drove them decent say under 80.

I worked for a man in At that loved them said they would drive all day at 140. Knowing Jay as I did you can bet he would blow at least a .09. he never measured distance in miles just did packs.
