What would the proper paint color be for a Federal Model 28 underhood siren? Is there a Duplicolor or Rustoleum equivalent? Thanks!

the hammered dark gray from rustoiem is about as close as you can get.

Thanks Ed. I wasn't sure if the hammered finish would work. I think I even have a can in the paint locker.

one more of those things we need to do to finish up the 58. you do see a lot of them silver also but the hammered is as close to the original as one can get.

Yes, indeed! Hello, Jon!

BTW, the correct finish for Federal Underhood sirens is Hammerite "Hammered Finish" Gray: http://www.tcpglobal.com/HAM-41145.html?gclid=CjwKEAjwn7e8BRCUqZiP_vnrtBkSJAC_l p4HnEWVLkwUT11NyFLxcvqj9GG78n2dqaieUShRwgTXSBoCjwT w_wcB#.V435FDWnyKI
