getting warm think 1910-1930. this critical bolt and 5 like it keeps things going round

Wooden spoke wheel bolts... they hold the hub onto the spokes.

thats unfair your still driving one. but yes those are the wheel bolts they with a moon shaped keeper and nut hold the clincher rim and tire to a wooden spoke wheel. pray for me I'm going to try to pull these tires of the rim and put some just a hair better on. I dont have the 3 legged tool to do so.
