Fantastic photos. Thanks for posting them. According to Tom McPherson, that Eureka-Oldsmobile limousine-style funeral coach was the only limousine-style the company built on the RWD 98 platform and that, as he remembers, it went to the Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home in Syracuse, New York. Looks pretty good after all these years.

Thank you for these and subsequent photos that you are so kindly posting for the rest of us, Matthew. There is already a fine assortment of professional cars, looks like it will be a great Int'l Meet.

Was the photo of the '73 Superior 3-way taken at Elmer's?? I assume that it was. Did anyone buy anything off of it?

Matthew Taylor

Yes it was at Elmes Auto and Toy Museum. They aren't in the salvage business anymore, having sold the business to their sons some years ago so no one bought any parts that I was aware of. It was complete but in bad shape.

My very first pro car the 1980 S&S Victoria Combination. She is looking really good and obviously in good hands with her new owners.

Thanks, Matt for the new images. It's almost like being there. Looks like it's going to be a good show with some interesting cars. Thanks for the new images of that Eureka-Oldsmobile limousine-style. It really looks great and...is a one-of-a-kind car as well. Who belongs to the beautiful 1959 Comet Oldsmobile? That's a real show-stopper.

Yes - click on the link in the first post and you should see at least 4 albums, labeled with the appropriate day of the week. Eventually I will have a total of 7, two more from the show field and one more from the banquet.

Thanks, Matt. Because of your wonderful photos, it was almost like being there. These photos made my day..every day of the event..and, I can say, those of probably quite a few more home-bound PCS members who, like me, wish we could have been there. Looks like everyone had a splendid time and... there were some very interesting cars there as well. Your efforts on behalf of those of us who couldn't attend are most appreciated. Also, thanks to all who those actually did make the trek to Rochester and brought cars. Have a safe journey home everyone.

Although I was able to see several of these coaches in person yesterday, your photos captured the ones I missed and the quality of your work makes it almost better than actually being there. I applaud you and thank you for sharing.

What year was that, I never got it all week. I know I would love to have it, it was high in my top five favorite cars there.

John, that Eureka-Oldsmobile "Regent" limousine-style funeral car was a 1984. Interestingly enough, it had a matching limousine - a four-door,nine passegner Eureka-Oldsmobile Mayfair. They were purchased as a pair by Ballweg and Lunsford of Syracuse, New York.

Me as well. As an SCI general manager it will be exciting to see the company's museum and my Little Remi (grand daughter) lives just an hour north of Houston.

Hey John you will have to beat me to it first ! I want it too lol

I wanted it bad enough I was going to offer my 49 S&S for it, but my girlfriend about cut my head off and put a stop to that before I even got a chance to mention it to anyone but her.
