A PCS Member I spoke to yesterday is headed to look at the 1974 Superior today, and probably has been there and back by the time I am writing this. He is interested in the car for himself, and if it is worthwhile, it will be headed home with him.

I made a offer on this so we will see where it goes. Not a cream puff but not a pos either. Drivers floor board is weak ,another floor board comes with it. The moldings below the rear window that meet up with the rear door trim that is missing in the pic is inside. It is partially disassembled inside. Lots and lots of boxes of stuff. Looks pretty complete.A/c compressor is disconnected and in the back. Rear bumper has 0 rust one tail light housing has a dent . Solid frame not able to drive as it was landlocked . Front lower fenders have typical rust out , hood has some rust also , hood hinges will not close maybe just lube and exercising will bring it down. Headliner mostly missing front to back . There was also a wide Superior van that they where not sure if they where going to sell or not . You can contact the seller at 310-402-4119 Eva is her name. If anyone is interested I would give her a call on them.

I drive by that 74 Superior in Bellflower almost nightly on my way home from work. They also have Chevy Astro / Stoner Ambulance that I'm sure was once owned by Adams Ambulance in South Gate, California. It has the trademark Adams Ambulance chrome mag wheels on it and is still fully equipped with red Code 3 lightbar. Can't believe they don't get hassled about it...

What is the name(s) on the hightop Cadillac signs? Did this rig come from a funeral home based ambulance service?

Drove by on the way home tonight and didn't see either the Cadillac or the wide van in front. Only thing there was the Chevy Astro Ambulance in the driveway.

Robert, I believe it's Schinkel & Schwartz. I don't know anything about them, but it certainly sounds like a funeral home affiliated service.

The van they said they are going to use it to move with. The caddy is in the side yard behind the fence , you can not see it from the street. The signs she had made they are the last names of her and her husband.

It might have come from Arizona. A Phoenix-based service once used that color scheme on their Superiors.
