The reason I wished it was a 72 is that I came home from the hospital after I was born in a 72 Ford LTD 4 door Brougham that my grand dad had! Would love to get my hands on a nice one too yet.

If this were mine I'd swap the trunk lid to a regular LTD trunk lid and get rid of the getto wheels and ghetto grille topper! Other than that, it looks great!

I really really like this car but its out of my price range. Jeremy, I used to own a 72 LTD Brougham 4 door, gold with a brown vinyl top. Wish i still had it! Like a moron, I traded it in on a 77 Camaro LT

[Is that a Johnny West horse in the floor in the back of the car?[/I]

The first person who immediately came to my mind when I saw this car was our dearly departed friend, Carolyn Coppinger. Knowing her deep appreciation for her own "Black Mariah" limousine, I think Carolyn would have been very interested in this car.

I like the car in general, I even like the trunk lid. But, I don't think I could handle that interior color, unless it looks better in person.

I'm getting to this party late since the post has been deleted, but what a neat car! It was appropriately equipped w/ cruise control ("fingertip speed control" I believe was the Ford parlance then) and cornering lights. Agree w/ Jeremy that the grille and trunklid would have to go.... Kent, that Johnny West horse must have gotten into the bar!
