You know how some cars and people just seem like perfect matches? We recently had such a discussion involving a Lincoln limousine on the ebay forum; a car we thought would be perfect for Patrick Martin.
Here is another example: This hearse should be the next addition to the Boston / Ledford fleet. Commercial glass...gold...smooth top...vogues...it's all there for Jeremy or LeeAnn. This is the first S&S Masterpiece I have seen with a painted top! It is being offered for sale by Jones Coach Sales in Kentucky.

I definitely agree that it belongs in the fleet of the Boston & Ledford Mortuary & Salvage Yard operations...

Do you know how much they are asking? I want it! I think it may be the same one Jeremy sent me a picture of a few weeks ago. I would have to have a black vinyl top but on though to match Elmo! And Elmo is no longer "Vogue"...

Unfortuantely you still haven't seen a Masterpiece with a painted top as this car has a full vinyl top. The Crown above and to the left of it has a half painted top and I have seen Masterpieces with that but none with a full painted top. Wonder if there are any out there?

At first glance, it looked like a smooth, shiny top. On closer examination, I see it is full vinyl.

That is even better! It can be dyed!! Cheaper than putting vinyl on.

Leeann, I called Jeremy a cuple of weeks ago and told him about the hearse, and told him to tell you about it. Just think, Elmo's brother. You need it. We should just start a Sovereign gold chapter.

Oh, ok. He did e-mail me a pic. I'd like to have it! We thought Carl was getting one in, but it turned out to be bronze. Good one about the chapter. We probably couldn't get 5 members for the Charter! LOL

Lonnie, I think you need to buy it for Allis. I know she wants an older model, but Elmo needs a friend. Guess she could name it Flojo!

Hey LeeAnn, Do you collect the minitures? The 1959 Cadillac flower car talked about in another forum is the color of Elmo. I picked one up today that I will send you if you want it. It will match Elmo and FloJo and then you have 3 the same color.

Carl, I thought the one you got was more bronze. Did it end up being the color of Elmo?
I didn't think about this when you called today. I asked Danny if the Mark V was driveable and he said yes. I could always drive it back and Danny haul the limo. Then, we'd have to drop the Mark V off in Nashville. He'd be going as far as 30 miles or so north of Atlanta and then maybe the owners come there, or maybe ya'll work out something for him to take it on the FL. Just some ideas.....
We'll call you when we leave out of Hendersonville, hopefully 1:00 (your time).

Is it the small one like the Matchbox cars? Well...I only have 2 and they are identical. Maybe we could 'trade'. I'm not sure what it is. (Jeremy, if you read this, what is it?). I've joked about painting one of them Sovergn Gold..
